Delightfully crispy mozzarella sticks infused with a spicy, smoky heat, perfect for snacking or gatherings.

  • 12 Mozzarella Cheese Sticks
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder

Instructions

  1. Freeze the mozzarella sticks for 30 minutes.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with cayenne, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Dredge each cheese stick in flour, dip in egg mixture, and roll in breadcrumbs until well-coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a deep skillet to 375°F (190°C).
  5. For air frying, cook the sticks in a single layer for 6-8 minutes until golden brown; for frying, cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Transfer cooked sticks to paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

These sticks can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying for convenience.
