Deliciously crispy bites made with broccoli and melty cheese, perfect for a snack, appetizer, or family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh broccoli, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for about 2 minutes, then strain and place in ice water.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, cheddar, mozzarella, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Form tablespoon-sized balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
  7. Serve with a dipping sauce of your choice.

Notes

You can substitute or mix in other vegetables and cheeses to customize the flavor. For added crunch, use panko breadcrumbs.
