  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20; can substitute with turkey or plant-based options)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns (toasted)
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, cheese, and your favorite condiments

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  2. Divide into four equal portions and shape into patties with a slight dimple in the center.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly grease if using a skillet.
  4. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 160°F for medium.
  5. Add cheese during the last minute of cooking if desired, covering briefly until melted.
  6. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
