A delightful and creamy variation of the traditional pecan pie, combining the sweetness of condensed milk with crunchy pecans for a comforting dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup of unsweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup of dark brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. If using a store-bought pie crust, place it in your pie dish and crimp the edges. If making from scratch, roll out your dough and fit it into the dish.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the pecan halves into the filling.
  5. Pour the filling into the prepared crust, spreading the pecans evenly across the top.
  6. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until the filling is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the pie to cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours before slicing.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature with optional whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a splash of bourbon or folding in chocolate chips or dried cranberries.
