A delightful dessert featuring creamy filling layered with crushed chocolate cookies and topped with gummy worms.

Ingredients

  • 18 oz Chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup Butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups Powdered sugar
  • 16 oz Whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 2 boxes Chocolate pudding mix (3.9 oz each)
  • 4 cups Cold milk
  • Gummy worms (as needed for decoration)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, softened butter, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Prepare the chocolate pudding according to package directions using cold milk. Mix until well combined.
  3. Gently fold the prepared chocolate pudding into the cream cheese mixture until just combined.
  4. Fold the whipped topping into the chocolate cream mixture until fully incorporated.
  5. In a serving dish, layer half of the crushed cookies on the bottom, then half of the cream mixture over the cookies.
  6. Repeat the layering with the remaining crushed cookies and cream mixture, finishing with crushed cookies on top.
  7. Decorate with gummy worms as desired.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to set properly.
  9. Scoop out portions and enjoy this delightful dessert.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese and butter are fully softened. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
