  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (or substitute with almond milk or oat milk)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for frying)
  • Maple syrup and fresh fruit (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  1. Trim the crusts off the bread slices and flatten them using a rolling pin.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the cinnamon and sugar; set aside for coating.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and milk until fully blended.
  4. Dip one slice of bread into the egg mixture, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar, and roll tightly, securing the end with egg mixture.
