A decadent dump cake featuring rich chocolate mingled with ooey-gooey caramel, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 bag of soft caramel candies (about 14 ounces)
  • 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 2 cups milk (or non-dairy milk)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix with melted butter until crumbly.
  4. Evenly spread the crumbly mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the soft caramel candies and chocolate chips over the crumb mixture.
  6. Slowly pour the milk over the top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top appears set and the edges are lightly browned.
