Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, brown the butter over medium heat until golden brown and nutty.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the browned butter and brown sugar, mixing until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, stirring gently.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
  8. Spread the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
