A comforting casserole with creamy cheese sauce, ground beef, and tender tortellini that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat; season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook for about 5-6 minutes.
  4. In the skillet with the beef, stir in the marinara sauce, cream, and cooked tortellini until thoroughly mixed and bubbling.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly, and top with shredded mozzarella.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
