A delightful combination of warm spiced apple cider and creamy vanilla ice cream, perfect for autumn gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Apple Cider
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 23 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 34 Whole Cloves
  • 2 pints Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Whipped Cream (optional)
  • Caramel Sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the apple cider, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, and cloves. Heat on medium until gently simmering, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and let the cider cool to room temperature. Strain to remove spices and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Scoop generous portions of vanilla ice cream into tall glasses or bowls, aiming for two scoops per glass.
  4. Carefully pour the chilled spiced apple cider over the ice cream, allowing it to foam.
  5. If desired, top with whipped cream and caramel sauce, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  6. Serve immediately while frothy and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftover cider in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Adjust spices according to taste.
