A cozy, one-pan dish featuring seasoned ground beef, creamy gravy, and fluffy mashed potatoes, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 4 cups prepared mashed potatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, diced onion, bread crumbs, and egg; mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the beef mixture into patties and place them in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the brown gravy mix with beef broth until fully dissolved and pour over patties.
  5. Spoon mashed potatoes over the beef mixture, spreading it evenly and creating texture on top.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
