Ingredients
Scale
1 package of flavored gelatin (sugar-free)
2 cups water (1 cup boiling, 1 cup cold)
Optional: Fresh or frozen fruits (e.g., berries or citrus)
Instructions
Gather Ingredients: Start by gathering your flavored gelatin powder, water, and any fruit you wish to include. Make sure you have a bowl or a mold ready.
Boil Water: In a saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil over medium heat. The water should be steaming but not bubbling excessively.
Dissolve Gelatin: Remove the saucepan from heat and add the flavored gelatin powder, stirring continuously until completely dissolved. This will take about 2-3 minutes.
Add Cold Water: Incorporate an additional 1 cup of cold water to the mixture to cool down the gelatin.
Add Fruit: If desired, add in cut-up fruits of your choice, allowing them to float within the gelatin mixture.
Pour Into Mold: Carefully pour the mixture into a mold or a shallow dish, leaving some space at the top.
Chill: Refrigerate the gelatin for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
Notes
For a detox version, add a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
